The Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership is a group of sixteen leading cancer organizations in the US who have joined together to build and strengthen comprehensive cancer control (CCC) efforts across the nation.
In support of the national 80% by 2018 initiative to increase colorectal cancer screening, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Cancer Society, and the National Cancer Institute have joined together to host a “80% by 2018 Forum: Increasing Colorectal Cancer Screening Rates through Enhanced Partnerships between Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalitions and Federally Qualified Health Centers.” This 1 ½ day Forum will take place on September 16th and 17th in Atlanta, GA and will enhance the capacity of states to implement evidence based interventions designed to increase colorectal cancer screening rates. Eleven state teams representing six organizations/key partners will be selected to attend the event. All expenses, including air travel and hotel accommodations, ground transportation, meals and materials, will be covered.
